Real worlds- Brief and Research

Project information For this project, we have been given a client brief from Mantic Games, which is a table top games company. The product that I will be focusing on for the duration of this project, is their Deadzone game. For the project, I have been given two different areas to choose from to work in, I can either work primarily in 2D or 3D. I will be choosing the 2D path for this project, as I feel like I can best communicate my ideas and designs through a 2D medium rather than working with 3D software, as I am not as confident with Maya and Zbrush as I am with Clip Studio. The one area I'm less proficient in when working with 2D however, is building design, as I generally prefer to work with natural environment designs rather than man made buildings.  Week 8 Dynamesh recap and Zremesher Dynamesh gives more flexibility when sculpting, allowing for an easier process when sculpting out the base mesh of a model, you can also dynamesh multiple times on one model in order to add more details as you develop the model Zremesher can be used to clean your sculpt mesh be retoplogizing the surface. You can also use this tool on multiple subdivision levels including low poly, which makes it easier to make large scale changes even with a limited amount of polygons to work with.  ZModeler Z modeler is a function in Zbrush that allows a more hardsurface form of modelling in the sculpting software. Industry practice Week 8-14

 Week 8 As another memeber of my team was struggling with looking into the Anxiety character, they asked to swap characters with me, so I am now going to be doing the research and character design for the Anxiety character. As I will no longer be working on the PTSD character, I will not be developing my sketches for that character design anymore. For the anxiety character, I will be looking into the different ways that Anxiety can show its self in someone, this can either be the way they speak, the kinds of people they tend to hang around, how they present themself and how they might dress depending on how they're feeling. I will also be starting my initial sketching phase for the environment designs that I have been assigned for the project, for these I will be designing the bedroom and the park. The bedroom being one of the main areas where the main character will be spending their time at the start and end of each day, potentially sometimes for the whole day. Character research...
